Covid-19 Prepared

We have created a safe space for our customers to receive health services. This includes:

  • Acupuncture services are offered the first hour of all morning shifts exclusively for vulnerable persons, including:  those over the age of 65 years, immune-compromised individuals, individuals with serious health issues such as heart or respiratory illness or diabetes, and pregnant individuals.

  • A private treatment room is available for all new patient consultations, and vulnerable persons.

  • Covid-19 screening questions are asked, and temperature readings are taken, before individuals are allowed into clinic space.

  • Individuals must remain outside until it is time for their appointment, and unless they require ambulatory or translation support, they must come in unaccompanied by family or friends. The goal is to have no one waiting in the reception area.

  • Social distancing of at least 6 feet is observed at all times in clinic space, except when practitioners are treating.

  • Two hand washing stations are available for use, and all patients are expected to wash hands after entering clinic space.

  • Masks must be worn at all times by staff, practitioners, and patients.

  • The clinic space is disinfected regularly, using EPA-approved disinfectants and disinfecting guidelines that kill the human coronavirus.

If you have any questions or concerns about coming in for acupuncture or other health services in these times, please give us a call and let us know if there is anything else we can do to put you at ease.
